Kml/kmz exporter under Ubuntu Linux

Steven Pawley
To the list,

The kml/kmz exporter (in the dialog box option following right-clicking a layer and exporting) does not appear when running opticks (4.11) under Ubuntu Linux 12.04; only the .ice exporter is available. However, the kml exporter is present under windows. Is it possible that I'm missing a dependency?

Many thanks,

Steve

Check the Message Log for plug-in load errors. You can also set the
environment as it is set when Opticks runs (look in bin/Environment)
then run "ldd Kml.so" to see if it is missing any dependencies.
